You know the thing about today's games? You just don't know what to expect. Sometimes, it is the most unusual of titles and pairings that make for a winning combination, so when I heard that there was a game that combined tower defense, plant life and an undead horde of flesh-eating zombies, I shook my head in disbelief.
Plants vs. Zombies is a tower defense-style game for the PC and Mac that pits players as a house owner who is suddenly being invaded by zombies. Your only form of defense is plant life. The idea is for you to create different kinds of offensive and defensive plants in order to fight off the invading undead, during the day or at night, and avoid a brain-consuming end.
