I was browsing the web pages of Yahoo when I suddenly spotted this article about a GOLD PS3. It shocked me that I suddenly said "WOW! What the hell is that!?" The PlayStation 3 is plated with 24 karat gold, which comes complete with two matching controllers and a one-year warranty.

Its pricing starts at $4999. OMG! That's very expensive and I still prefer the black one. The same supplier also offers a mighty snazzy gold-and-black Blackberry Tour 9630, starting at a mere $899. Now that's very shocking. I don't know what to say, I'm speechless. Where would I find the money I need to buy these cool gadgets?? Would you suggest one?? HAHA! Anyway, I think it will just be a dream to have these things.

My Very Simple Joy

SJ. The abbreviation means Simple Joy. I learned that term from a good friend of mine and I'm surprised of what it seriously means. It is kind of a thing or a person which makes you happy every time you see it or taste or smell it or whatever you like with it. It makes me wonder of the thing that I like most in everything that I see everyday. Including the trees that sway around, birds singing and the noise of the cars in the highway.

Speaking of cars, now I know what my SJ is. My SJ is a BMW car. I always see that brand of car when I'm on my way to school. And it makes me happy every time I see it. I always see approximately 2 BMW branded cars every day. Ever since I played the Need For Speed: Most Wanted game which is one of my favorite cars there is the BMW M3 Coupe 2006. I termed that car as my "Dream Car", it makes me say it every time I see a BMW car.

As of now, I've seen so many of them and it always makes my day complete. So you guys out there that maybe you have some SJs there to share. HAHA! ^_^

Missing The Sunset

I found this picture in one of the photo albums of my friend in Friendster and somehow it makes me feel happy and at the same time sad. I remember those times that we occasionally go to the Manila Bay to watch the sun sets. But still sadness dominates me. It's been a year since my family and I went to that place where we usually took pictures of it and having fun around while walking. Of all the things going on around I still want to go there. I don't care if I will waste time, all I want is to see the sun glowing.

If I will be given the chance to go there, maybe I'll just sit there and reminisce all the happy and sad moments of my life that made me a better person. I am a loner sometimes and I always found myself sitting and wondering all the things which makes me wonder about it.

I want to see it again. Maybe I'll find time to go there for the next few days. See you there! ^_^

You know the thing about today's games? You just don't know what to expect. Sometimes, it is the most unusual of titles and pairings that make for a winning combination, so when I heard that there was a game that combined tower defense, plant life and an undead horde of flesh-eating zombies, I shook my head in disbelief.

Plants vs. Zombies is a tower defense-style game for the PC and Mac that pits players as a house owner who is suddenly being invaded by zombies. Your only form of defense is plant life. The idea is for you to create different kinds of offensive and defensive plants in order to fight off the invading undead, during the day or at night, and avoid a brain-consuming end.

Plants vs. Zombies is a buck load of awesome. The game looks so simple on paper, but it's a very tactical game that everyone, from the hardcore to the casual, will definitely appreciate. Come and play Plants vs. Zombies!! Enjoy!! ^_^

Probably The Worst Day Of My College Life

Hello guys, I just want to share something terrible happened to my life last Thursday. It all began in the morning. We checked our mid term exam and so it happened. I received a score of 47 out of 100 and the sad thing is it's 60% passing. I don't know what to do or say after I heard my score. I knew it, that I was going to fail. All I have to do now is to study more so that in the final term period I will achieve more than I hope for.

After that, my 2nd subject at last. It all went well as expected but after we were dismissed all things suddenly changed its pace. It was 3 in the afternoon where I went to the place where the YFC PUP Rock 10 concert will be held. At first I am so happy that I'll get the opportunity to go there and have some fun with the YFC's.

At 3.30, my classmate and I have to go to the computer shop because we have to do some activity regarding our Programming 3 subject. I am very confident that we'll finish the given activity within one hour but unfortunately it took me more than 3 hours in doing it. I started at 5 pm, and at 8.30 in the evening I was still there.

The Rock 10 concert started at 6 pm. When I left at 3 pm, I keep it to myself that I'll going to the said concert. The concert will last until 9 in the evening. But as I have said, I found myself sitting in front of the computer still at 8.30. That pressured me a lot!!! My heart is bursting out!! I'm still not done in the said activity!! Oh gosh!!

If you were in my state would you still go the concert?? Yes, I did try to still catch up in the concert, unfortunately the gate closed! As I walk away, I heard the noise coming from the concert inside the PUP grounds and as I walk away, I felt sad, very sad. And as I walk away my eyes became teary. I just bow down as I walked the street. I felt that it's the worst day of my life.

I'm still can't get over with it. It's just the feeling that make me about it.

I just let it go and hoping for that time to happen again...

Need For Speed goes back to the racetrack focusing in bringing back the legitimacy to the NFS name, and EA plans on doing this by releasing Need for Speed: Shift. What the player may immediately notice with the game play is the enhanced experience with driving the car, especially with the increase threat of crashing. The camera blurs, moves, shakes with the vibrations of bumping onto a wall or another car.

Realistic audio aims to top off this experience with both sounds of collision and reactions from the driver, including increased heartbeat, sharp gasps of breath, and even groans of agony. At high speeds, you may see a tunnel vision, reflections off the windshield, haze from the engine and debris.

Some of the key features involve the true driver's experience in which it delivers the true driver's experience including a three-dimensional HUD that mimics driver head movement, inertia and G-forces.

It also involves a dynamic crash effect when the player hits a static object or opponent car, the player will feel like they are 'taking damage'. It also has a nearly 70 licensed cars that are available and there are also over 15-real world locations.

Need for Speed SHIFT will be available on Xbox 360®, Playstation®3, PC and PLAYSTATION®PORTABLE (PSP) as well as on Mobile and iPhone. It will be available in stores in Europe on September 17 and in North America September 22.

Google and Microsoft Fighting For New OS

Google will be releasing their new OS: the Google Chrome OS. This is Google's attempt to rethink what operating system should be. The Google Chrome OS is an open source operating system that will initially target net books and will be available for consumers next year.

Google said that speed, simplicity, and security are the key aspects of this new operating system. The company added that "Google Chrome OS is designed to be fast and lightweight, to start up and get you onto the web in a few seconds."

Also, Google is going back to the basics and completely redesigning the underlying security and architecture of the OS, so that users don't have to deal with viruses, malware and security updates.

I've been to many places since I was a child. Imagine, I have gone from Baguio to Masbate. My province is Ilocos Sur on my father's side and on the Bicol region at my mother's side.

In this blog, I talked about the places which I want to go to and I have gone to. I seasonally update it because I only travel not more than 5 times every month. Also, I am busy nowadays with my studies.

I'm still trying to catch up, and I am planning of going to Baguio some time and I'll update it as soon as i can. ^_^

Mid Term Examinations for the 1st Semester

Hello guys!! I just want to tell you that I'll be off for quite some time. I am preparing myself for the coming Mid Term Departmental Examinations this coming week. And I'll be refraining from browsing the web for the next days to review for my minor subjects.

Don't worry guys, before the end of August I'll be posting new articles that you've always wanted. I also want to inform you that I'll be attending some of the activities of the YFC-PUP. No, I'm not a member but I just want to join their activities because I find it exciting. Anyway, I'm happy that on my first month of blogging gave me a lot of readers and they keep on coming back for new updates. I appreciate that and I hope that you could visit my blog again for new updates.

Cory Aquino died at 76

As of this morning, it was confirmed that the former president Cory Aquino died exactly at 3:18 early this morning. The country was shocked about it and felt sorry for the family of Aquino. The death of the former was due to colon cancer which was already in stage 4. Although the cause of death was mainly from cardiorespiratory arrest.

Corazon "Cory" Aquino, January 25, 1933 to August 1, 2009, was the former president of the Philippines and a world-renowned advocate of democracy, peace, women's empowerment, and religious piety. Wife of the late senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, who fought for democracy that was said to be the famous EDSA revolution.

Many people mourn for her death specially those whom she had helped in time of her career as a president. She was also coined as a peacemaker, for she was fighting for peace when EDSA revolution was ongoing.

The Filipino people couldn't resist this phenomenon that a great leader had died. Some put a yellow ribbon on their cars symbolizing their support for Cory.

In my state as a student, I am grateful that God gave our country a great leader to be proud of in the world. A leader who is not scared of fighting for peace and justice among others. A leader who stands out in everything.

Sony Shows Off New PSP

Confusion seems to be Sony's game as the media giant announces a new iteration of its gaming handheld right after the release of the PSP 3000 just a couple of months ago. Dubbed the PSP Go, the unit looks radically different from the tried-and-true aesthetics of the PSP; the PSP Go has a slightly smaller screen which slides up to reveal the hardware buttons and analog thumb stick.

The most shocking changes, though, are the elimination of the UMD slot, replacing it with 16GB of flash memory and the announcement that old and new games will be made available on the Playstation Network. It's still up in the air whether Sony can pull up an Apple and make a successful online app store, but the $249 price of the PSP Go sure ain't going to help. ^_^

Sir Diego of Analytical Geometry

This happened last Wednesday at 6:00 in the evening. My classmate Derrick, Jacie, and I got bored when we saw our professor in Math. We don't know why but somehow we managed to listen even if we don't want to. The lesson was about the reduction of the standard form of equation into its normal form.

I did understand it a little but still I need to review for it though. We are on the last row and I noticed that my other classmates were also busy doing such other things like reading the latest FHM magazine which my classmate Joenald brought. HAHA! The ones who are reading it are the ones who are the best when it comes to ridiculous things. I'm one of them but only sometimes.

When we are haflway in the discussion of our lesson, I draw my professor while he's sitting. I kept on laughing while I'm doing it. HAHA! Suddenly, Derrick saw it and he immediately get a piece of paper and started to draw our professor also. It's funny thing you know when we got finished, we showed it to our other classmates and they also kept on laughing at it.

Mine was colored blue and Derrick's was black. Here are the pictures as you can see, we also put some dialogs there.

Encarta @ MSN To Be Discontinued

I was shocked recently when I found this article in the website of Encarta at MSN.com that they will be discontinued on October 31, 2009 worldwide. I admit that I'm one of their subscribers and it's hard for me to heard this news.

I am a student and I have a need of this kind of educational site. It helps me a lot in my studies and educational problems. When I had read the notice, there was this urge inside of me trying to get out. I mean, it was very shocking to know that.

Now, I am searching for other Encarta-like web sites that will help me on my studies. Aside from Wikipedia, I am also looking forward to Britannica and Wolfram|Alpha, and other helpful websites out there.

The Foodie Life Blog

What's up? I just want to share to you my other blog. It is The Foodie Life. It talks about the foods and drinks which I already encountered. There are also topics about coffee, wine, and some other variety of foods which I have likened. I started this blog only last May, but it did had a great job to improve my blogging abilities.

If you will going to visit it, it is not much like this blog that has a good template. But I the colors of it encourage you to taste that picture of food there. I haven't update it yet due to hectic schedule but I will try to come up with a new blog post next week.

I based my blog in my personal experiences. I blog those things that I encounter so that readers will think that the writer of the article is true to himself and he is not making a story which was never been happened.

The blog is not like the other blogs there that are great, it is just a blog which was created by me at a young age and with only a limited time to allot to update this blog. Somehow, I managed to update it whenever there is something new that I discovered lately.

For now, I'm just going to update as frequent as I can to come up with the others. ^_^

When Was The Last Time Your College Professor Said "Putang Ina Mo"?

Last Wednesday, July 8, it happened to be one of the funniest class that I encountered. The subject is Speech Communications, of course your professor should speak in English right? The lesson is about communication breakdown, not the one that was sang by Led Zeppelin. So, she was giving examples of the lesson like saying stupid things to the receiver of the message, no mannerisms, and etc.

On her one example she use the cursed word of the Philippines, the word is "putang ina mo". Familiar isn't it? It is one of the most common used words in our society. It is called the "cursed word", why? It is because it resembles a bad meaning. For example, I get mad at you, and then suddenly I said "Putang ina mo!", you'll feel that I am angry with you, right?

Everyone of us in the class laugh when she said that. Imagine, saying a word that is prohibited is like having to break a rule or a regulation. But, for me it's ok because it's just an example. She also said it twice, first she said it straight while the other one was like this "Ang ganda mo, putang ina mo!". See, that's why we laugh, because she complimented on the person then after that she said a word that has a bad meaning.

If you would translate that cursed word in English, it would be "son of a bitch". Sounds formal, isn't it? But the same thing is they have the same meaning. Yep, enough for that. Now, you know the famous cursed word and most common word that we always use. So now, you were informed. ^_^

I get to upload this very important file in this blog so that my classmates can download it. It includes a Java compiler, or Textpad. I got the installer from one of my classmates, who doesn't want to share what he have got. I would like to clarify that I'm not using this opportunity of having visitors in this blog. I don't expect such kind of thing. I just want to tell everyone that you can download this programs here for free.

I bought a magazine recently and I noticed it feature web sites that have downloadables that can be use in pimping your screen. I noticed one web site and I'm amazed of what I have read. It say that in Stardock.com, you can download CursorFX. It is a program that lets you use and create incredibly cool looking Windows mouse cursors. Better than that, you can also avail of its premium edition but the sad thing is, you have to pay for it.

However, as long as you have this kind of software, you can brag it to your friends and your friends will simply get envy of you. HAHA! Now that will be kinda awesome. I also want to have that CursorFX, maybe for the next couple of days I'm going to download it. So guys, you can also look at other products that Stardock.com has to offer. Maybe you'll find something that is very amazing to have. XML Headache

I'm having problems in editing the design of this blog yesterday evening. It is very difficult but somehow I can do some of it. The template is some kind of a Web 2.0 thing. I don't know what it means but I think it's an important thing for a SEO blogger.

I still don't know how to do SEO but I keep trying to learn it. It will be a very hard time to understand it but I will try my best. As for now, I have to keep on posting in this blog and promote this so that visitors will come.

I also think of the labels and categories that I'm going to put here and also the widgets. My friends keep on telling me that I should use Wordpress but I still want to use Blogger for easy and not-so-difficult blogging. For now, I will just file this under the Blogging.
